Self-Defense Or Brazen, Lawless Gun Battle With A Bad Attitude?

If you play these videos at the same time, you might wonder if it’s a shoot out at the O.K. Corral 2009 or what? It’s hard to believe that this gun fight happened in a U.S. city - a Toledo, Ohio community bar! Who would imagine that this many punks are carrying lethal weapons on them as they casually go into nightclubs, bars, restaurants, movies… people’s homes???? This video depicts a very frightening scene of lawlessness, brazen boldness with a lethal firearm, and a careless attitude for anyone’s life!

This scene should make sane people wonder about hanging out in these type of bars. This type of activity doesn’t just happen at low-life bars, it can happen anywhere - especially when people are doing unscrupulous things like selling or dealing in drugs, firearms, or anything illegal. When these gun toten punks carry firearms on their person and are among other like-minded individuals, it seems to give them an aggressive, superior and invincible-like attitude. What’s going to happen if this person confronts an unarmed innocent law-abiding citizen? It is probably not going to be a good day for the innocent person.

Do we want everyone walking around carrying firearms? How about only those who are mentally competent (and this could be a stretch), law-abiding citizens who have purchased their firearms the legal way and have gone through a complete background check? I would lay odds that most of the brazen punks in this video did not get their firearms that way!.

This type of video will undoubtably cause Government lawmakers again to try and take away the gun rights of innocent people in lieu of cracking down on this type of criminal activity. If that were to happen, you would only unarm law abiding citizens. The criminals will always be able to find a way get firearms…

Remember, your personal security and safety is your responsibility. Don’t put yourself in further jeopardy by the places you hangout!

Girls & Guns - Women Take Control Of Their Own Self-Defense

There’s a growing trend among many women today - they are learning how to fight back and protect themselves against the tremendous increase in violence against them!

Women are taking control of the own destiny by learning self-defense training AND purchasing guns to ensure they don’t become a victim of a violent mugging, physical attack, or worse yet murder. By taking a quality self-defense class, women can learn strong self-defense techniques and tactics to protect and defend themselves against a violent attacker.

Unfortunately, even if you know self-defense tactics what happens when the attacker is a 250 lb madman? You may need a stronger secondary source of protection to save your life. Look at the recent murder of Annie Li, the Yale grad student who was murdered by a co-worker. The person who murdered her was twice her size.

One point to mention - women should make it a habit to always be aware and alert to their surroundings - especially when they are alone. Also be sure to listen to any "gut instincts" that says there is something "wrong" about a situation that just doesn’t feel quite right. Your instincts may be telling you that you’re in a dangerous place - so get out of that situation as quickly as you can!

If you are physically assaulted or attacked, chances are likely that no one will be around to help save you - certainly not the police. Even if you call 911 for help you may get an inept 911 operator who spends more time questioning and talking instead of quickly dispatching the police who may be able to save your life. We’ve all heard these unfortunate 911 horror stories.

Whatever the situation more women are taking control of their own self-defense and making the decision to protect themselves with a gun. If you are one of these women, be sure to keep firearm safety in the forefront and take the necessary firearm safety training. It will help remove some of the fear women may have about carrying a firearm and provide the knowledge needed to operate, handle, clean, and care for the weapon.

After taking the necessary safety training, many women report they join a gun club or association to enhance their skills and to provide a comradere with other women gun owners. Stay safe!

Women And Guns - Documentary Casting Call

A good friend of mine, Cathryne Czubek, is a documentary filmmaker and she has a Casting Call for all Self Defense With An Attitude readers.

Documentary Casting Call - Woman and Guns

I am an independent documentary filmmaker and for several years I have been working on a documentary video on women and guns that explores the different reasons women become involved with guns and how they are impacted by guns.

I have interviewed women who hunt, who carry guns for self-defense, who shoot for recreation at gun clubs, who are interested in guns, who are scared of guns, who want to try shooting for the first time, who feel that they are a necessary part of their lives. I have traveled around the country searching for different perspectives in different geographic areas.

The project also takes a hard look at the cultural icon of the armed woman and the history of women and guns. A trailer can be seen at www.agirlandagunfilm.com.

Recreation is a part of the project and self-defense is a very strong aspect of the project.

I am looking for a woman who is currently going through a situation in which they feel threatened - perhaps at a workplace, in a relationship, at home, etc. It is not important if she owns a gun for protection or not, it would be ideal if she is contemplating buying a gun or a different object/weapon of self-defense.

I would want to produce a videotape with this woman and possibly record phone conversations, but it would not be important to disclose name, location, or any other vital information that would jeopardize one’s personal security. I realize this is a very sensitive subject. The most important thing that I am looking for is to capture the real feelings - fear, vulnerability, uncertainty, confusion, anxiety, etc. - of a woman dealing with a violent situation.

Warning - Criminals Advocate Gun Control - For You Only!!

HERE’S TO THE HOME INVADER-RAPIST-ATTACKER WHO WANTS GUN CONTROL

I received this video today and it is pretty clear that criminals are all in favor of GunControl — FOR EVERYONE EXCEPT THEMSELVES. This video will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

As a law-abiding citizen, if the Government took your gun(s) away, the only ones who would still have guns are the violent criminals. And the last thing we need is to let these criminals take charge.

Criminals will always have some kind of lethal firearm/weapon to do their dirty criminal deeds with. Everyday citizens needs to be able to protect themselves, their family, and their homes.

Protect your home and family by having an impenetrable home perimeter and security system, keep non-lethal personal protection like Taser C2, Stun Guns, Pepper Spray, or Mace in your home, in your purse, in your car, on your keychain, and develope and maintain a strong self-defense attitude and awareness so you know how to protect and defend yourself.

If circumstances warrant and you decide to purchase and carry a firearm for protection - be sure to get thoroughly trained and be well-prepared to use it if attacked by some low-life punk as seen in this video.
